Wine gums were the
favourite sweets of Roald Dahl, author of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. He kept a jar of the sweets next to his bed so he could savour them each night before he went to sleep.. Wine gums
contain no wine. The name comes from the lingering subtle fruit flavours that make it similar to the experience of savouring a fine wine.. What
really suprised me is how much I liked the red ones. Im not a fan of red candies but these werent too cherry or strawberry and had a nice sort of sizzly flavor to them. The only flavor I didnt like was the green one, which tasted just like cool lime floor cleaner.. Rolls are round only with no
shapes of Kidney, crown, diamond, circle and rectangle shapes with the wine messages on the sweets for Port, sherry, champagne, burgundy and claret..
